Garden Party

An English Garden Party for Russians!

It's been a year and a half since I posted anything on this blog, so now's the time to get it going again.

Last week we had close on 40 Russians, Ukrainians and Latvians in our own garden for a traditional English "garden party" as part of their Holiday Week at our Hungarian base. They loved it! Gardens in Eastern Europe don't look like this...

Here we all are at the base, together with some of our team members:

... and here is part of a garden full of Russians:

Usually we have the garden to ourselves; it's very relaxing between trips. Today we had our evening meal on the terrace: lasagne, melon, and a glass of sangria. Perfect in the hot weather! Sorry, there's none left...

On Monday we're back on the road, this time to the mountains of Romania for four days at a (Christian) camp for 18-30s. Don't laugh, we'll be there as teachers. Watch out for pictures when we get back.

Blessings to all from Roger and Chris
