Answering Christ's Call in Bucharest

This is the 6-day course Answering Christ's Call in Bucharest. We have more than 60 people here, learning the basics of prayer ministry. It's a very practical course with real ministry that really works! Our students pray for each other and find that the teaching is true. God is faithful to his word. Tomorrow we have a 14-hour train journey back home to Hungary.

Pannonia Express

Here we are on the Pannonia Express, 14 hours from Budapest to Bucharest. Much better than driving and much cheaper than flying. We will be in Bucharest for a week, teaching basic prayer ministry.

Noisy neighbours!

This is the beautiful guest-house at Dezna, Romania, where we teach and minister at Healing Retreats. Many wonderful things happened there this weekend, praise God! However there was one thing that we did not expect, here in the mountains - noisy neighbours! In the roof above our bedroom (the end dormer window) was a family of pine-martens who were scratching and thumping all night long. We were so glad to learn that they weren't rats.

In "Coffee Heaven", Budapest

After a hospital visit (the usual ongoing checkups) we often celebrate by spoiling ourselves a little! We've not been in this particular coffee-shop before, but we are very impressed by the comfort of the armchairs and the free wi-fi connection. The coffee's not bad either, but the prices are definitely "western".

One careful owner?

We saw this landing-craft for sale in a small town not far from Kiev. What a wonderful answer to Budapest traffic! Nobody, but nobody, cuts me up when I'm in this... And when the jams get too bad, I just take to the Danube!

On the road in Ukraine

This was the unchanging view from the minibus on the four-hour trip from Kiev to Kremenchug.

Writing good things.

These young Ukrainians are writing good things on each others' backs, part of an exercise in relationship. Great fun!
